Lions of Canada Fund for LCIF: A Year of Remarkable Accomplishments
The Lions Canada Fund for LCIF had an exceptional year, marked by significant contributions and impactful projects.
GIVING: At the LCIF Board of Directors meeting in August, Canadian Lions were recognized for exemplary in their ongoing giving (sign up here). Canada surpassed LCIF's 2024-2025 financial goal, reaching an impressive 103%. Well done! PIP Patti thanks you.
GRANTS: Grants approved by LCIF = more than 1800 (US$44.6 million). For Canadian Lions, 7 grants were approved at the August meeting. New grant applications must be submitted by January 1, May 1, and October 1 of each year, to allow staff to review and make any necessary changes before the next meeting of the Directors. Learn more.
RECOGNITION: As LCIF Executive Director Marvin Chambers famously put it, "LCIF is our foundation, and the donations you make are the lifeline that leaves your mark, changes the world as we 'Drive to Serve, Serve to Lead.'"
